What can you use DraftKings for?
If you want sports betting, the App Store lists at least 14 sports, with examples including NFL football, Motorsports and LOL. That selection gives you a reason to consider DraftKings whether your interest is football, racing or esports.
For casino play, the App Store names slots, blackjack, roulette and live-dealer games. Your choice comes down to the kind of game you want: slots, a table game or a live-dealer format. Choose that product before you decide to create an account.

Are there DraftKings apps for your device?
Google Play lists a DraftKings Android app distributed through its store, with a last update of September 30, 2026. If you use Android, that is the store format to look for when choosing the app.
The App Store lists the iOS version at about 360.6 MB. If you use an iPhone, check your available storage before downloading it from the App Store. These store listings let you match the app to your device.
What should you check before registering?
In Ontario, DraftKings requires identity verification at registration and may require it again later. Copies of identity documents and proof of address may be requested, so be prepared for those checks when you open and use your account.
DraftKings’s Alberta safer gambling tools include deposit limits, cool off periods and self-exclusion. Consider a deposit limit before funding your account, and choose a tool that fits the boundaries you want to set.
